In the last minutes of the first half, the home team's head coach Ismet Tashdemir received a red card, which made the situation tense. There was a quarrel between the fans of Bodrumspor and the bench of the visiting team. Eyupspor head coach Arda Turan and his assistant Ugur Demirok were hit by foreign objects thrown onto the field. Demirok, who was seriously injured, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The game was stopped for a few minutes.
