Idman.biz reports that this was stated to Report news agency by the president of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, Şahin Bağırov.
He noted that the number of teams in the women's competition is expected to increase next season: “Currently, we are working on an 8-team championship. As you know, this number used to be 6. However, it is possible that the number could rise to 9. But that is not certain yet. The development of volleyball in Azerbaijan is evident. I believe we will achieve our desired goals.”
