Azerbaijani volleyball star Polina Rahimova has been crowned Brazilian champion.
Rahimova’s team, Osasco, clinched the title by defeating Sesi Bauru 3-1 in the final, Idman.biz reports.
In a tense and hard-fought match, Osasco secured two of the sets through tie-breaks, while Rahimova contributed two points to the victory.
With this win, Osasco completed a golden double, having already lifted the national cup earlier this season.
Notably, this marks Rahimova’s first championship title in Brazil.
