The table tennis team of Azerbaijan successfully started the competition at the "Riga City Council's Youth Cup" Tournament, which was held in Riga, the capital of Latvia.
Idman.biz reports that two medals were won on the first day of the competition.
Among athletes under 13 years of age, Tunar Bagirov was awarded silver, and Khadija Eylazova was awarded bronze.
It should be noted that the team went to Riga with 11 athletes. The International Tournament will end on October 29.
