On December 29-30, a Table Tennis Tournament dedicated to the birthday of Martyr First Lieutenant Vusal Babayev was held among schoolchildren of Khazar district as part of the sports festival held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Idman.biz reports that the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, who participated in the opening of the tournament, watched the schoolchildren's competition and talked with them.
School No. 88 was the first among 12-16-year-old boys in the competition organized by the "BrendSport.az" portal with the participation of 22 schools. Schools No. 322 and 121 finished the competition in the second and third place.
Among girls aged 12-16, school No. 88 was awarded the first place. Schools No. 149 and 322 were ranked second and third. Among boys aged 7-11, the first and second teams of school No. 88 and the team of school No. 121 stood out. Among 7-11-year-old girls, the teams of school No. 88 won the first and second place, and the team of school No. 121 won the third place.
