Azerbaijani swimmer Suleyman Ismayilzade, who won gold at the 3rd CIS Games, shared his joy with reporters, stating that his achievement is a victory for the country, Idman.biz reports.
“I am very happy with my results. The swimming competitions were intense. I finished the tournament with 1 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze medal. I promise to achieve success in future competitions as well. We always feel the support of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Hearing the Azerbaijani national anthem in my homeland is a special joy,” Ismayilzade said.
The 3rd CIS Games will conclude on October 8.
