Azerbaijan has claimed another gold medal at the 3rd CIS Games.
Idman.biz, citing Report news agency, reports that swimmer Oqtay Huseynov took first place. He outpaced all competitors in the 400-meter individual medley. Russian Ilia Lamshanov finished second, while Belarus’ Maksim Malyshko took third.
Another Azerbaijani swimmer also earned a bronze medal at the Games. Egor Maynitskiy claimed third place in the 200-meter breaststroke. Russian Ilia Yashmanov won gold, and Belarus’ Maksim Malyshko took silver.
