Azerbaijan won its first medal at the world championship held in Lima, the capital of Peru.
Azerbaijan national team consisting of Zeynab Sultanova, Leyli Aliyeva and Sofia Barkhalova took the second place in the competition between teams, Idman.biz reports.
They won the silver medal in the final of the 10 m air pistol shooting competition, behind only the Indian team.
