Spectators and participants witnessed another world record on the 13th day of the World Shooting Championship in Baku.
According to İdman.biz, Raymond Debevech, who won a gold medal in the men’s shooting competition at a distance of 300 meters, broke the world record by collecting all possible 600 points at the age of 60.

This is the first result of such an old athlete in the mentioned species. Previously, the oldest athlete who set a record in this type was 38 years old (Swedish Carl Olsson).

The second place in the competition was taken by shooter Alexi Leppa from Finland, who scored 599 points. Timothy Sherry, representing the USA, celebrated the bronze medal (599 points).

As for the men’s team competition in this category, Norway was the first, Poland was the second, and Switzerland was the third.

Polish representative Karolina Romanczyk, who won the gold medal in the women’s competition, won the first place with 593 points. The second place was taken by Silvia Guignard Schnider from Switzerland with 592 points. French shooter Agate Cecil Camille Girard experienced the joy of the bronze medal with 592 points.

In the women’s team competition in this type, Switzerland was first, Norway was second, Germany was third.
