Germany suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Greece in their second UEFA Nations League group-stage match on Sunday, September 27.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the match in Augsburg ended in victory for the visitors, leaving Germany without a win in their opening two games of the competition.
Klopp's side had previously drawn 1-1 with the Netherlands in their opening fixture and have now collected just one point from a possible six.
The defeat marks Germany's lowest points total after the first two matches under a new head coach, based on the historical comparison. Sepp Herberger in 1937 and Helmut Schön in 1965 had previously recorded two points each at the beginning of their tenures.
Dimitrios Kourbelis scored the only goal in the 74th minute, securing Greece's first-ever victory over Germany. The visitors now lead Nations League Group A2 with six points from two matches, while Germany sit third with one.
Klopp, who took charge of Germany in July 2026, will now look for his first victory when his team host Serbia on October 1, before travelling to Greece for the return fixture on October 4.
