The opponents of Azerbaijani clubs participating in the European Handball Cup tournament have been determined.
In the women's competition, the Azerbaijani champion Azeryol will face Austria’s Union Korneuburg in the second qualifying round, Idman.biz reports.
The bronze medalist of the national championship, Kur, will compete against Portugal’s Sao Pedro do Sul club. The first legs of the second round will take place on September 27-28, with the return matches scheduled for October 4-5.
In the men's handball tournament, the Azerbaijani champion Kur will play against the winner of the duel between Hungary’s Balatonfuredi and Turkiye’s Beykoz teams.
Our other representative, Baku, will face North Macedonia’s Ohrid club. Both Azerbaijani teams will start their campaign from the second qualifying round. The first legs of this round are scheduled for October 11-12, with return matches on October 18-19.
