The Baki men's handball team has officially submitted its participation application for the European Cup.
According to Idman.biz, the team will begin their campaign in the competition from the 2nd stage and has selected 15 players for their squad.
Kamil Mammadzada and Russia's Rustam Huseynov will serve as the team's goalkeepers. Other members of the team include Teymur Akhundov, Nijat Azizov, Elnur Huseynzade, Kamran Mammadov, Elgun Mammadrahimov, Elgun Mammadzada, Sabir Nazaraliyev, Farid Savziyev, Alexander Sergunin, and Malik Shafiyev. Additionally, the roster includes international players Valerii Kramarov (Russia), Vladyslav Napadailo (Ukraine), and Artsiom Skryba (Belarus).
Eldar Farajov's team will meet with the representative of Montenegro HC Lovcen in the 2nd round.
