The European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships are currently underway in Leipzig, Germany.
The women’s qualification rounds were held on the opening day, Idman.biz reports.
Azerbaijan’s representative, Deniz Aliyeva, competed in all four events: floor exercise, uneven bars, vault, and balance beam. She earned a total score of 43.632 across the events and placed 62nd in the all-around standings.
The men’s qualification competition will take place today, with Nikita Simonov, Ivan Tikhonov, Rasul Ahmadzada, Mansum Safarov, and Murad Agharzayev set to compete.
