Azerbaijan’s group rhythmic gymnastics team won a silver medal at the European Cup held in Burgas, Bulgaria.
The team—composed of Laman Alimuradova, Darya Sorokina, Yelyzaveta Luzan, Gullu Agalarzade, Kamila Aliyeva, and Sofiya Mammadova—secured their place on the podium after performing a routine with three balls and two hoops, Idman.biz reports.
The gymnasts scored 25.150 points, earning second place. The gold medal went to the Bulgarian gymnasts.
Additionally, their routine with five ribbons earned them fourth place.
The team also qualified for the all-around final, the Cross Battle competition, scheduled for May 17.
