The Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnastics team will take part in the second stage of the European Cup, set to be held in Burgas, Bulgaria, from May 15 to 18.
The team will head to the next leg of the series following their appearance at the European Cup in Baku, Idman.biz reports.
In the individual events, Govhar Ibrahimova and Zohra Jafarova will represent Azerbaijan, while Shams Agahuseynova and Azada Atakishiyeva will compete in the junior category.
Azerbaijan will also participate in the group competitions. The senior team features Laman Alimuradova, Darya Sorokina, Yelyzaveta Luzan, Gullu Agalarzade, Kamilla Aliyeva, and Sofia Mammadova.
The junior group includes Nazrin Abdullayeva, Ayan Nasirova, Nazrin Salmanli, Medina Abbasli, Shams Muvaffagi, and Nilufar Orujlu.
Gymnasts from 12 countries are set to compete at the European Cup.
