That’s how Italian rhythmic gymnast Tara Dragaš reacted after winning two silver medals at the European Cup held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Idman.biz reports.
Dragaš claimed podium finishes in the hoop and ribbon events and also secured a spot in the all-around final. Reflecting on her performance, she said: “I’m competing more confidently here at the European Cup compared to the World Cup two weeks ago. My first routine didn’t go well, but I managed to recover and even won a bronze with the ribbon back then. Right now, I’m mentally more focused, and I hope to keep it that way.”
She also commented on the level of competition in Baku: “The competition is very intense, and the ‘Cross Battle’ format in the all-around final demands a real fight. We have a few days to prepare for the decisive performances.”
