The participants of the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Cup in Baku have kicked off their official podium training sessions today.
Teams continue to arrive in the Azerbaijani capital ahead of the competition, which will officially begin tomorrow, Idman.biz reports.
The event marks the second stage of the European Cup series and will feature gymnasts from 25 countries.
Azerbaijan will be represented in the senior individual category by Govhar Ibrahimova and Zohra Jafarova. In the junior division, Shams Agahuseynova, Azade Atakishiyeva, and Fidan Gurbanli will compete.
The Azerbaijani delegation will also take part in the group events. The senior group includes Leman Alimuradova, Darya Sorokina, Yelyzaveta Luzan, Gullu Agalarzade, Kamilla Aliyeva, and Sofiya Mammadova.
The junior group is made up of Nazrin Abdullayeva, Ayan Nasirova, Nazrin Salmanli, Ilaha Bahadirova, Shams Muveffaqi, and Nilufar Orujlu.
