The AFFA Disciplinary Committee has fined the clubs Sabah, Qarabag, and Araz-Nakhchivan.
According to Idman.biz, the national association’s official website reported the details.
Qarabag must pay 5,000 AZN after their fans directed mass offensive chants at an opposing player during a match.
Sabah was fined 2,000 AZN after a delay in the arrival of an ambulance during their game against Turan Tovuz caused the capital club inconvenience.
Araz-Nakhchivan received a 500 AZN fine after player Slavik Alkhasov was shown a red card following a second yellow in the fifth round of the Misli Premier League match against Qarabag. Alkhasov will serve a one-game suspension.
Additionally, the AFFA Disciplinary Committee issued a warning to Guba, a team competing in the Second League. During the third-round match against Shamkir, Guba fans used pyrotechnics in the 46th minute. As this was the first occurrence this season, the club received a warning.
