– First, let's look back at last season. What do you think was the reason behind your former team "Sabail" leaving the Premier League? Surely, you didn’t expect this at the beginning of the season...
– It was very disappointing for me that "Sabail" left the Premier League. I didn’t expect this to happen, but things didn’t go as we wanted. We faced very difficult situations, and although we looked for ways out, we couldn’t succeed.
– Do you believe "Sabail" will return to the Premier League after one year? Will the departure of most of the squad members not hinder this?
– I believe "Sabail" will return to the Premier League. They are currently assembling a competitive squad. You can see that from their transfers. Even though many players left, good new players have joined the team. I have high hopes that they will become champions in the First League and return to the Premier League.
– Did you have offers from other clubs as well? Why did you prefer the "Karvan-Yevlakh" option?
– When I received an offer from "Karvan-Yevlakh," I thought it over and then agreed. I believed that a newly promoted team to the Premier League, with a good, fighting, and motivated squad, can achieve something.
– The Yevlakh representative had been away from the Premier League for many years. How do you think the team will perform in its first season back in the top division? What goals have been set for "Karvan-Yevlakh"?
– It’s very pleasing that after years, "Karvan-Yevlakh" is back in the Premier League. A good team is being built, consisting of both locals and foreigners. I believe we will show football worthy of the club’s name. Our goal is first to maintain our place in the Premier League and then to compete for better positions next season.
– We see that "Karvan-Yevlakh" is strengthening not only with foreigners but also experienced local players. Will this tandem be successful? Is the team chemistry at a good level?
– We have a well-organized and friendly team made up of both foreigners and local players. These things are very important for achieving good results.
– The increase in the number of regional clubs in the Premier League also means an increase in the number of fans at the games. Will playing in front of many Yevlakh fans give you extra motivation? What would you like to say to them?
– It’s very encouraging that the number of regional clubs in the Premier League is growing. Playing in front of many fans creates a completely different atmosphere. One of the main reasons I chose "Karvan-Yevlakh" was to play in front of Yevlakh fans. I believe that with their support, we will achieve good results. My message to the fans is that together, hand in hand, we will try to make them happy.
