Defender Slavik Alkhasov, who recently extended his contract with Araz-Nakhchivan for another year, shared the reason behind his decision in a statement to Idman.biz.
He stated that his happiness within the team played a key role:
“Everything is in order at the club, and the atmosphere within the squad is very friendly. That’s why I signed a new contract. I feel happy at Araz-Nakhchivan — we made history together by qualifying for European competitions. We’ll try to perform successfully. It won’t be easy, but a lot depends on our opponents.”
Alkhasov has been with Araz-Nakhchivan since February 2024. Over that period, he has played 35 matches, providing 3 assists.
