Peter Kralik: "The most beautiful of the World Cups held so far is the one held in Baku" - INTERVIEW

Peter Kralik, Vice-President of the World Minifootball Federation, interview with Report.

The teams of Azerbaijan and Hungary will face each other in the final of the World Cup. What are your thoughts?

This is good news for Azerbaijan. Better news for your country would be if you win the decisive match. Hungary is a very good team. They have experienced players in their squad. It can already be predicted that the final match will be very difficult.

Which team do you rate the chances higher?

It should be borne in mind that the game starts 0:0. Whoever scores the most goals will win. We believe that the fans gathered at the National Gymnastics Arena will witness an interesting final.

What can you say about the organization of the World Cup?

The most beautiful of the World Cups held so far is the one held in Baku. However, the competition is not over yet. I believe that the atmosphere of the final match will be remembered with even more magnificent moments.

7007 fans watched the Azerbaijan-England match in the quarter-finals. This is an absolute record in the history of the World Cup. Did you expect this in advance?

The previous best indicator was recorded in the opening match of the European Championship held in the Slovak city of Košice - the Slovakia-Belgium match. 6513 fans watched that match live. When Azerbaijan came first in that tournament, we already understood that this country would be one of the best organizers. I congratulate the local organizing committee for the record of fans recorded in Baku. However, as I emphasized earlier, the competition is not over yet.

How will the organization in Baku be a positive example for other countries?

The previous competitions have been a good example for Azerbaijan. Your country has prepared very well for the World Cup. I believe that other countries will also look at Azerbaijan and be even more inspired. Everyone has seen that mini-football is very popular in Baku.
