President of the Chad Minifootball Federation Mahamat Issac Soga highly appreciated the opening ceremony of the World Cup held in Baku.
He said this in a statement to Report, Idman.biz reports.
President believes that Azerbaijani national team will reach the final: "The organization is excellent. Because there are 32 teams and this is also good in terms of building relations between countries. Also, the opening ceremony of the World Cup held in Azerbaijan was one of the best in the last four competitions. We hope that it will continue like this until the end and Azerbaijan will also reach the final. Why not? Because it is the organizing country."
The federation official also touched on the team's performance: "The match was a bit difficult. We lost 3:0. We were expecting a draw or a win to advance to the 1/8 finals. But unfortunately, Uzbekistan was superior to us in terms of both spirit and endurance. We will do our best next time. We had a few chances, but we couldn't score. This is football. If you miss a chance, you can lose."
