Former Brazilian international and World Cup champion Lúcio has shared his first photo from the hospital following a serious injury.
The former Bayern Munich and Inter Milan defender suffered burns covering 18% of his body after a fireplace explosion at his home in Brazil, Idman.biz reports.
The 47-year-old was admitted to a hospital last week, and his condition required two surgeries. He is currently still being treated in the intensive care unit.
Lúcio posted a picture on social media, showing himself walking in a hospital corridor alongside his wife. In the photo, his hands, feet, and head are heavily bandaged.
