Zira football player Ismayil Ibrahimli told Idman.biz.
He expressed his opinion on playing the 100th game in the XXVIII round of the Azerbaijan Premier League by starting the away match against Sabah (1:0). According to the 26-year-old midfielder, he wants these anniversaries to increase: "I believe that this number will increase in the future."
Ibrahimli also touched on the performance of Zira in the Premier League. He said that although they are currently ranked 3rd in the tournament table with 42 points, any result can change their position.
The midfielder hopes for a confident performance in the first match against Gabala in the semi-finals of the Azerbaijan Cup today: "Many teams are fighting for a place in the European Cup. We have important games ahead of us. We will fight until the last round to participate in the European Cup. Cup games are very different from the championship. We know that our opponent is the last owner of the similar competition. We will do our best to get to the finals."
It should be noted that the match between Zira and Gabala, which will be held in the semi-final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup, will start at 19:00 at the stadium of Zira Sports Complex.
