Mali national team forward Boubacar Conte, who was previously close to joining Qarabag, is set to continue his career in Russia.
According to Idman.Biz, citing African media, the 24-year-old striker, who currently plays for Georgian club Dila, has reached an agreement to move to Moscow side Torpedo. The parties are expected to sign a three-year contract.
It should be recalled that last summer Conte had reached a preliminary agreement with Qarabag. However, the transfer fell through after the Aghdam club failed to agree on the terms of the deal with Dila. As a result, the forward remained in the Georgian championship, and is now close to completing a move to the Russian club.
