Kapaz is reportedly close to resolving its goalkeeper problem.
Idman.Biz, citing sport24.az, reports that the Ganja-based club has turned its attention once again to Neftchi goalkeeper Rza Jafarov.
Kapaz head coach Azer Baghirov does not want Polish goalkeeper Kacper Rosa in the squad. Meanwhile, the team’s other goalkeeper, Mammad Huseynov, recently received a red card and suffered an injury. Additionally, the young keeper lacks experience.
For these reasons, Kapaz management is seeking a new goalkeeper. The club had previously made an official offer for Jafarov to Neftchi at the start of the season, but no agreement was reached.
This season, Rza has not had playing opportunities at Neftçi, making a move away from the capital club likely. A winter loan to Kapaz appears to be a realistic option.
