A 280-page book titled “The Great Diary” dedicated to the history of Germany’s Borussia Monchengladbach has been published.
Idman.Biz, citing Bild, reports that the book covers the 125-year history of Borussia Monchengladbach and includes never-before-published photos of players who have represented the club.
Among the rare photos are images of German coach Berti Vogts, who served as the head coach of the Azerbaijan national team from 2008 to 2014.
For context, Berti Vogts began his professional football career in 1965 at Borussia Monchengladbach, playing as a right-back. Between 1965 and 1979, he won the German championship five times, the German Cup once, and the UEFA Cup twice with the club. During his career at Borussia Monchengladbach, Vogts played 419 matches and scored 32 goals.
