Mikautadze repeated Bale's historic achievement

Georges Mikautadze, the author of the goal scored against the Czechs in the Georgian national team, which won its first point in the European Championship, engraved his name in the history of the competition.

As Idman.biz informs, Mikautadze repeated the result of Welshman Gareth Bale by scoring in each of the first two games of his team.

The Georgian footballer scored it in the matches against Türkiye and the Czech Republic. In 2016, the Welsh forward scored a goal in each of the games against the Slovaks and the English. However, Bale also distinguished himself in the 3rd game of his team against Russia, which debuted in the Continental Championship that year. Mikautadze must also score against Portugal in order to repeat this historic achievement.

The Georgian football player also became the 6th player to score the first two debut goals of his team in the history of the European Championships, and the first player to do so after the Ukrainian Andriy Shevchenko, who scored two goals for Sweden in EURO-2012.

The match between Georgia and the Czech Republic ended with a score of 1:1.
