Nijat Abasov is on the 59th place in the September rating of FIDE

The International Chess Federation announced the ranking as of September 1.

According to İdman.biz, Teymur Rajabov is the highest among the Azerbaijani grandmasters. He is ranked 14th with 2745 odds. Shahriyar Mammadyarov (2734) ranks 16th.

Nijat Abasov (2677), who rose to the 59th place thanks to his fourth place at the World Championship held in Baku, made a real leap.

The ranking is headed by the new world cup winner Magnus Carlsen (2839), Fabiano Caruana (2786) and Hikaru Nakamura (2780).

Gunay Mammadzade (2441) ranked 29th in the rating table of female chess players. Ulviyya Fataliyeva (2387) is 63rd, and Govkhar Beidullayeva (2381) is 68th.

The first place is taken by Hou Yifan (2628), the second place is taken by another representative of China, Yu Wenzhun (2560), and the third place is taken by the winner of the World Cup, Aleksandra Goryachkina (2558).
