NTD-INDIGO basketball player Griffin Ramme gave an interview to the club's press service.
Idman.biz reports that the American player spoke about the goals of the team and the match against Ganja in the next round of the national championship.
- The team was defeated by Sabah in the XI round of the National Championship. How can you explain this defeat?
- After the game with Sabah, I felt a little bit of both. We are disappointed that we did not win, on the one hand. However, I'm proud of the courage and moral fortitude we displayed during the game. Our hopes for this season are high. We know that we can win every game, not who our opponent is. For us, it was a positive experience.
- There is Ganja game ahead. How do you rate the odds?
- A very important stage begins in the season. The next three games are very important for the fight for the playoffs. In the absence of Jared and Elshad Shirzadov, our work becomes even more difficult.
- Ganja is not the strongest team of the championship, but it plays confidently at home...
- Ganja is a very dangerous opponent. If we do not take this game seriously, the result will not be good at all. We should not be fooled by the opponent's position in the standings, as they have had a good impact in recent matches. Their coach is doing a good job. Ganja is a very serious competitor.
- You said that the important stage of the championship has started. How do you assess the state of the clubs and which team do you see as the main competitor?
- Champion Sabah always deserves special respect, because they achieved what we wanted. But we are not afraid of anyone. We do not see any team as our main rival. We fight until the end. If we don't work at full strength in training, we don't have a chance for the title. But if we try, we will be champions.
