Portuguese club Gil Vicente's Brazilian striker Carlos Eduardo will continue his career in Azerbaijan after joining Sabah on loan.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the 24-year-old centre-forward has signed a deal with the Azerbaijani champions until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The loan agreement includes an option to buy, allowing Sabah to acquire Carlos Eduardo's permanent transfer rights next summer.
Before completing his move to the Baku club, the Brazilian extended his contract with Gil Vicente by another year. His previous agreement had been due to expire in the summer of 2028.
Carlos Eduardo joined Gil Vicente from Felgueiras in January 2025. During the 2025/26 Portuguese league season, he made 15 appearances and scored two goals.
The striker has also featured in two matches for Gil Vicente this season.
The signing provides Sabah with another attacking option as the club prepares for its domestic and European commitments during the 2026/27 campaign.
