26 wrestlers will represent Azerbaijan in the World Championship - STAFF
The United World Wrestling (WWU) has announced the participants of the World Championship among wrestlers under 23 years of age, which will be held in Tirana on October 23-29.
İdman.biz reports that a total of 587 athletes from 58 countries will participate in the World Cup.
There will be 26 wrestlers in the Azerbaijan national team.
In Azerbaijan freestyle wrestling team, Rahman Imanov (57 kg), Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg), Ziraddin Bayramov (65 kg), Kanan Geybatov (70 kg), Jabrayil Hajiyev (74 kg), Ashraf Ashirov (79 kg), Arseni Cioyev (86 kg) ), Abduljalil Shabanov (92 kg), Islam Ilyasov (97 kg) and Vahit Galayev (125 kg) took place.
The coaching staff consists of Greco-Roman wrestlers Farid Sadikhli (55 kg), Nihad Guluzada (60 kg), Ziya Babashov (63 kg), Hasan Mammadli (67 kg), Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg), Khasay Hasanli (79 kg), Eljan Mammadov. (82 kg), Mohammad Ahmadiyev (87 kg), Murad Ahmadiyev (97 kg) and Sarkhan Mammadova (130 kg) will give a chance.
The women's wrestling team consisting of Elnura Mammadova (50 kg), Gultekin Shirinova (53 kg), Jala Aliyeva (57 kg), Birgul Soltanova (62 kg), Nigar Mirzazade (65 kg) and Marziyya Sadigova (72 kg) will also go to Tirana.
