The trial of Dani Alves, former player of the Brazilian national team, has started in Barcelona, Spain.

The prosecutor's office requested a 9-year prison sentence for Alves and 150,000 euros in compensation to the victim. The incident is believed to have taken place in a nightclub in Barcelona on December 30, 2022.
