The U-20 boys' volleyball team left for Poland's Gojuw-Welkopolski to participate in the Eastern European Volleyball Zonal Association (EEVZA) Championship.

The team led by Sabuhi Aliyev will face the teams of Latvia, Ukraine, Estonia and the host Poland. The Azerbaijan national team will play their first match on January 11 against the Estonian team.
Jamal Jalilov, Ravan Kahramanli, Jamal Guliyev, Ogtay Gasimov, Ravan Huseynli, Aziz Ismayilzade, Nihad Gasimov, Ramiz Bagirov, Said Ahmadov, Natig Nabiyev, Hasan Khalilov, Kamil Huseynli, Riyad Hasanov and Azay Hajiyev took part in the national team.
It should be noted that the competition to be held on January 10-14 is a qualifier for EURO-2024. According to the regulations, the champion will qualify for the final stage of the Continental Championship.
