Azerbaijan ranks tenth in the medal standings at the Summer World University Games held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany.
According to special correspondent of Idman.biz in Germany, the Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnastics group, consisting of Laman Alimuradova, Gullu Aghalarzade, Darya Sorokina, Kamilla Aliyeva, and Yelyzaveta Luzan, has won two gold and one silver medal.
With this result, Azerbaijan is ahead of countries such as Spain, France, Brazil, Canada, the United Kingdom, and many others.
The United States is in first place (13 gold, 8 silver, 15 bronze), China is second (9-12-3), and South Korea is third (7-4-11).
