Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov has held his 20th meeting with representatives of various sports federations.
The meeting took place at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy, where the minister greeted the attendees and provided an overview of the recent developments and upcoming responsibilities in the field, Idman.biz reports.
A key topic on the agenda was the preparation for the 3rd CIS Games, set to be hosted by Azerbaijan in 2025. Attendees were also briefed on the Games’ official website.
The event featured presentations on the ISF U15 Gymnasiade Sports Games and tributes to sports veterans. Discussions were also held regarding the academic programs at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy.
Additional topics included the evaluation model for sports federations, sample charters and organizational structures, as well as the 2026 calendar plan.
The event concluded with the presentation of the “tedbirvar.az” platform, followed by a discussion on federations’ social media activity and other relevant matters.
