Azerbaijan’s bodybuilding team wrapped up the European Championship in Santa Susanna, Spain, with an impressive haul of 12 medals — four gold, two silver, and six bronze.
Azerbaijan marked a milestone by competing for the first time in the Fit Model category, where Natalya Tretyakova claimed bronze in the +164 cm height division, Idman.biz reports.
Khizri Shahriyar also secured bronze in the Classic Physique event.
Ismayil Habibyev became the overall European bodybuilding champion, while Hidayat Guluzada clinched the overall title in the Muscular Men’s Physique category.
Teyyar Valiyev stood out in bodybuilding with a silver medal, and Yalchin Mammadov earned bronze in the “Masters” division.
Tarlan Aliyev achieved a double victory, winning gold in the Men’s Physique category both in the junior and senior divisions. Competing in the same events, Ahmad Guluzada claimed silver among juniors and bronze among seniors.
Shirin Orujov secured third place in another height category of the Men’s Physique competition, while Ilyas Abdullayev added a bronze in classic bodybuilding.
