The women’s handball team Azeryoj has appointed a new head coach.
According to Idman.Biz, citing the Azerbaijan Handball Federation, Belarusian specialist Sergey Kambur has been named to the position. The club has signed an 18-month contract with the coach.
Changes have also been made to the coaching staff. Former Karabakh head coach Gulnara Nagiyeva has been appointed as the team’s first assistant coach.
It is noted that the new coaching staff has been tasked with stabilizing Azeryoj’s results and improving the team’s competitiveness in national competitions.
