Today, competitions in seven sports will take place at the 3rd CIS Games.
Idman.biz reports that at the Gabala City Stadium, the next football matches will be held. In Group A, Azerbaijan will face Kyrgyzstan, while Russia will play Uzbekistan in Group B.
The shooting events at the Gabala Shooting Club will conclude with the final rounds in skeet and trap.
Badminton matches will continue at the Gabala Olympic Sports Complex, featuring further games in Groups A and B, as well as the semifinals.
In Shaki Olympic Sports Complex, gymnasts will begin their competitions.
Boxing will continue at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex with the quarterfinal bouts in the 48 kg, 52 kg, 57 kg, 60 kg, 66 kg, 80 kg, and +80 kg weight categories.
At the Ganja Sports Palace, swimming competitions will proceed alongside volleyball matches. In volleyball, Russia will meet Belarus in Group A, while Uzbekistan will take on Tajikistan in Group B.
The 3rd CIS Games will conclude on October 8. A total of 1,624 athletes and 2,337 representatives from 13 countries are participating. Azerbaijan is represented by 340 athletes, while Pakistan has 4, Russia 262, Uzbekistan 254, Belarus 240, Kazakhstan 147, Tajikistan 144, Kyrgyzstan 126, Turkmenistan 48, Turkiye 38, Cuba 11, Kuwait 6, and Oman 4.
