Today, the international handball tournament dedicated to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev has begun.
The Azerbaijan Handball Federation (AHF) team and tournament participants first visited the Alley of Honor to pay their respects at the grave of the Great Leader, laying bouquets of flowers and honoring his memory with deep reverence, Idman.biz reports.
The memory of the prominent ophthalmologist and academic Zarifa Aliyeva was also commemorated, with fresh flowers placed on her grave.
