European Gymnastics (EG) has announced the prize fund for the upcoming European Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics, set to be held from May 15–18 in Burgas, Bulgaria, with participation from Team Azerbaijan.
Winners of the individual "Cross Battles" will receive €6,000 (Gold), €4,000 (Silver), and €2,500 (Bronze), Idman.biz reports.
In group routines, the prize distribution will be €10,000 (Gold), €6,000 (Silver), and €4,000 (Bronze).
The "Cross Battles" follow a knockout format: after the all-around qualification, the top 16 individuals or teams proceed to finals, where 1st place faces 16th, 2nd faces 15th, and so on. Each participant performs only one apparatus in each battle until the final.
The same format applies to group competitions.
