The “Cadillac” team has announced its lineup for its debut in the Formula 1 championship in 2026.
The team officially confirmed contracts with experienced drivers and multiple Grand Prix winners Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas, Idman.biz reports.
Together, they have participated in 527 Grand Prix races and secured 16 victories, making them one of the most experienced duos in the championship.
Sergio Perez is a two-time winner of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, having triumphed in Baku in 2021 and 2023 with Red Bull Honda. Valtteri Bottas won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in 2019 as part of the Mercedes team.
Starting in 2026, Cadillac will become the 11th official participant in the Formula 1 World Championship.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place on September 24–26, 2026.
