Veronique Rabiot: “When I learned he was sidelined, it felt like I had been hit on the head with a blunt object”

Adrien Rabiot’s agent and mother spoke about the midfielder being sidelined by Marseille.

After Rennais’ 1-0 defeat to Marseille, a fight broke out in the locker room between Rabiot and Jonathan Rongier, Idman.biz reports.

As a result, both players were removed from the team squad and put up for transfer.

Veronique Rabiot told RTL radio: “When I learned he had been sidelined, it felt like I had been hit on the head with a blunt object. This couldn’t have happened just because of that incident. I feel bad because he has done so much for Marseille, yet they treat him this way… Adrien isn’t angry, but he is very disappointed. Coach De Zerbi talks about betrayal, but the one facing this situation is Adrien.

I never expected something like this to happen. I thought the worst days were over at PSG, but I was wrong. If he misses this season, it would be a disaster. We’ve already experienced something like this and don’t want it repeated.”
