According to Idman.biz, Gurban Gurbanov is the only Azerbaijani coach in the list, ranking 140th globally with 1,658 points.
Gurbanov, the head coach of Qarabag, experienced a slight drop in his ranking after two defeats in the UEFA Europa League group stage, resulting in a loss of 17 points and a fall of seven places. Despite this, he remains ahead of notable coaches such as Senol Gunes and Domenico Tedesco.
In the rankings, Kurban Berdyev, the Russian head coach of Turan Tovuz, stands at 57th place with 1,790 points. Berdyev outperforms several renowned coaches, including Jorge Sampaoli, Fatih Terim, Arthur George, Massimiliano Allegri, Eric Ten Hag, and Ange Postecoglou.
Fernando Santos, who leads the Azerbaijan national team, ranks 183rd with 1,624 points. While he trails behind both Berdyev and Gurbanov, he ranks higher than coaches Vincent Kompany and Dejan Stankovic.
Roman Hryhorchuk, the former head coach of Neftchi, who resigned yesterday, holds the 414th position in the world with 1,480 points as he departs from Azerbaijan.
