Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has spoken about the injury sustained by Spanish defender Cristian Mosquera in the Matchweek 14 Premier League clash against Brentford (2:0).
According to Idman.Biz, the 21-year-old Spaniard was substituted in the 44th minute.
“We lost Gabriel, then Saliba… and now Mosquera has picked up an injury as well. We need to wait and see. It’s probably something in the knee or ankle area. We don’t know yet. Mosquera couldn’t clearly explain what happened, but he couldn’t continue,” journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano quoted Arteta as saying on X.
Earlier, Arsenal had already lost their main centre-back partnership, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães, due to various injuries.
