The Azerbaijani women's team, meanwhile, will take on the Czech Republic.
After eight rounds, Azerbaijan's men's team sit fifth in the standings with 13 match points, while the women's team are 21st with 11 points.
The Chess Olympiad is played over 11 rounds under the Swiss system and will conclude on September 27.
