Neftchi Basketball Club have strengthened their squad with an Azerbaijan international ahead of the new season.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the Baku-based club have signed 24-year-old forward Jabrayil Akbarov, who stands 194 cm tall.
Akbarov has signed a contract until the end of the upcoming season. Last season, he played for Ganja Basketball Club.
The new signing has attracted attention not only for his club performances but also for his displays for the Azerbaijan national team. He has represented his country at international competitions, including the first qualifying round of EuroBasket 2029.
