Sabah basketball club will hold a training camp in Lithuania as part of their preparations for the new season.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the club's press service announced that the training camp will run from August 23 to September 14.
During their preparations, the Baku side will play a series of friendly matches against clubs set to compete in European competitions this season.
Sabah will face Juventus Utena of Lithuania on August 26, followed by another Lithuanian side, Siauliai, on August 29. They will then take on Britain's London Lions on September 3 and Lithuanian giants Zalgiris on September 6.
The training programme will conclude with the Vladas Garastas Cup, which will be held in Klaipeda on September 12-13. Sabah will face Lithuania's Neptunas in the semifinals, while Zelli Riga of Latvia and Siauliai are the other participants in the tournament.
Sabah's pre-season opponents will also be involved in European competitions. Juventus Utena will compete in the Basketball Champions League, while Siauliai, London Lions, Neptunas and Zelli Riga will play in the FIBA Europe Cup. Zalgiris will compete in the EuroLeague.
