Sabail Club has completed the first official move of the winter transfer period.
According to the details provided to Idman.biz by the club's head coach Shahin Diniyev, the Baku representative has decided to transfer two attackers.
They are Ayub Masika of Kenya and Madi Queta of Bissau-Guinea.
Queta joined from CD Mafra in the Portuguese First League. The FC Porto player previously performed at FC Farense, Cherno More Varna, and UD Vilafranquense. A contract has already been signed with 25-year-old Madi.
Masika was a member of the Nanjing City Chinese Club. He performed in Beijing Renhe (China), Reading (England), Vissel Kobe (Japan), Buriram United (Thailand), Liege, Belgium, and Genk, Belgium. Masika, 31, is scheduled to arrive in Baku tomorrow.
Diniyev said that the players will not be ready for the first match.
It should be noted that Sabail will play its first match after the winter break on January 22. They will host Zira.
