Today, four Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers will compete at the World Championship taking place in the Croatian capital, Zagreb.
Idman.biz reports that alongside four-time world champion Eldaniz Azizli (55 kg), the following wrestlers will take to the mat: Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg), Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg), and Beka Kandelaki (130 kg).
Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers won four medals. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) earned a silver medal, while Nuraddin Novruzov (61 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg), and Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) each claimed a bronze.
